Evoc Property Group was engaged by the project financier to provide independent strategic oversight and supervisory development management for a waterfront residential and marina development in NSW. The role was advisory and non-executive, giving the financier visibility across subdivision completion, title registration, marina approval, procurement, construction readiness and sales.

The financier needed clarity, transparency and confidence around the pathway to completion. Multiple workstreams were moving in parallel: subdivision and title registration, marina development approval, procurement, construction readiness, marketing and sales. The brief required stronger oversight and reporting discipline without disrupting the developer’s existing contractual role or the project team’s momentum.

Evoc established an independent review framework covering subdivision, approvals, procurement, construction readiness and sales, identifying risks, delays and unresolved actions for the financier. The role included monitoring final subdivision works and title registration, tracking the marina development approval pathway, reviewing consultant and contractor performance, providing input into procurement and tender review, and assessing the alignment between physical delivery and the sales campaign. Concise weekly reporting gave the financier a disciplined view of progress, risks and required actions, while clear communication with the developer kept the project’s existing delivery structure intact.

A more transparent and disciplined oversight framework for the project. The financier gained clearer visibility across milestones, risks and procurement decisions, stronger reporting across all workstreams, and confidence in the pathway to completion, without direct intervention in the developer’s contractual role.
